NY - Falling tree kills man in Queens


New York  - A tree fell on a man in FLushing, Queens, Monday night, killing him.

It happened at about 7:30 p.m. at 47-34 166th Street, the FDNY said.

The city warned New Yorkers to get inside.

"Due to severe storm conditions, all NYC residents are being instructed to go indoors immediately and to remain indoors until further notice," according to a message from NotifyNYC. "Go indoors, and stay away from windows. Only use 9-1-1 for emergencies."

Earlier in the day a female jogger was hurt by a falling tree branch. Her condition was unknown on Monday evening.
